In the world of Steak, one name always comes to mind. That name is Ruth's Chris. This premium steakhouse serves up mouthwatering steaks and chops along with many other tasty morsels.

As always the atmosphere is very inviting. It's dim, it's cozy, and very comfortable. The deep warm tones of the classic decor will relax you in preparation of the sumptious meal to come.

We started the meal off with the Sizzling Crab Cakes. These lived up to every bit of their name, as they were served sizzling on the plate. After giving them a minute to cool down, our tastebuds were treated to a wonderful celebration of both flavor and texture. These were absolutely delicious.

Following our exceptional crab cake appetizer, we moved on to the main course. The first entree we ordered was the filet mignon, and the second entree was the lamb chops. We also ordered a side of asparagus with Hollandaise sauce and a side of the sweet potato casserole.

The filet was beautifully cooked. It was tasty, it was tender, and it wasn't going to last long on my plate. The filet literally melted in my mouth. It was a perfect steak. The lamb chops were artistically arranged on the plate, and offered up a wonderful aroma coming from the mint and natural juices. There were three in all, and were extremely tender and flavorful. One would say that it's a sin to come to such a superb steakhouse and order anything but a steak. However, this dish proved to be worth the sin.

The side of asparagus, like all of their sides is enough for two to three people to share. Wonderfully tender and fresh. the Hollandaise was simply delicious. The sweet potato casserole had a very light sweetness to it, and the pecans gave it a really nice crispy layer which added an outstanding texture ocntrast to the dish.

Next came our desserts. We ordered the Creme Brulee and the Caramelized Banana Cream Pie. The Creme Brulee was decadently light and smooth. A nice way to top off a perfect meal. The Caramelized Babana Cream Pie was not overly sweet. The flavor was rich and overall indulgent. This dessert had a definite lust about it. The best part.... When you make your reservations and they ask you if it's a special occasion.... the answer is YES. Make one up if you have to because they will give you a free dessert item to help you celebrate.

While the menu is a bit pricy, the meal is worth every cent..... And the steak lover in you will thank you.

Favorite Entree:
Our favorite would have to be the Filet Mignon. It was juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. An outstanding steak from an outstanding steakhouse. Our kudos to the chefs.

Favorite Appetizer:
Our favorite appetizer was the Sizzling Crab Cakes. If you're a crab lover, then this is a taste you will not want to miss out on. It was a great way to start off the meal. We highly recommend it.
